LAS Links Growth Trajectory Chart
The purpose of this tool is to illustrate the trajectory of a student who meets his/her annual growth expectation as outlined in
Connecticut's LAS Links Growth Model. It is designed to answer a question like,
"If a student earns a Grade 2 LAS Links Oral score of 443 and meets all growth targets in future years, how will the student’s Oral achievement change in future grades?" To use this tool:
Select a subject, select a starting grade, enter a valid scale score, enter a multiplier value (i.e. expected percentage of target achieved), and click calculate to see the trajectory.
The student is achieving in the Proficient or Above range. There is not a numeric growth target for students who are achieving at these levels. The growth expectation is that the student continue to achieve in the Proficient or Above range in the next grade.
